PALM DESERT – (INT) – Riverside County sheriff’s homicide investigators aren’t saying what links three men to a Coachella Valley couple missing for three years.

Detectives said they got information Saturday that led to the arrests of Manuel Rios, 28, of Coachella, Abraham Fregoso, 32, of Indio, and Jesus Ruiz Jr., 41, from Stockton.

Audrey Moran and Jonathon Reynoso were reported missing May 12th, 2017 two days after they were last seen at Reynoso’s residence in Palm Desert. They have not been seen since.

Moran’s vehicle was located the same day at the side of Interstate 10 in Beaumont.

Authorities believe that the couple was murdered.

Riverside County Sheriff Chad Bianco said Tuesday that his department is awaiting DNA test results on some human remains that were recovered from an undisclosed location several weeks ago.
