RIVERSIDE – (INT) – Traffic mishaps in Riverside Monday claimed two lives.

A bicyclist was killed when struck by a motorcycle while crossing Magnolia Avenue near Jackson Street.

Two people on the motorcycle were injured and taken to Riverside Community Hospital.

Late Monday night, a car and an older Ford bus collided at an intersection on Barton Street. Police said both vehicles entered the intersection at the same time. The driver of the bus, Russell Santos, 56, of Riverside was ejected and died at the scene. The surviving motorist suffered moderate injuries.
