ACSC: Business roll-back could lower gas prices SOUTHLAND – (INT) – California’s scale-back in its economic reopening may impact gasoline prices in the coming weeks.
Wholesale prices are dropping. “It’s being attributed to state orders to re-close certain establishments. We’ll know in a few days if decreases in wholesale prices are passed onto prices at the pump,” the Automobile Club’s Jeff Spring said Thursday. Pump prices have continued to move higher to a statewide average of $3.14 for a gallon of 87 octane regular. In the Riverside-San Bernardino area, it’s $3.10 or about 14-cents more than a month ago and 56-cents below this time last year Story Date: July 23, 2020
