Fire strikes abandoned San Bernardino school
SAN BERNARDINO – (INT) – A Wednesday evening fire heavily damaged the abandoned Ramona school in the 1500 Block of Seventh Street.

Winds quickly spread the fire through the building causing a partial collapse of the roof. It took 90 minutes to bring the 3-alarm fire under control.

The school was built in 1934 and covered more than 22,000 square feet. The fire’s cause and origin is under investigation.
