Growing gasoline inventories and declining gas station business figure in pump prices SOUTHLAND – (INT) – Gasoline prices seem to have stabilized or are slightly declining.
Gasoline inventories are up, according to the Oil Price Information Service which has lowered wholesale prices. But, the Automobile Club notes that the pandemic and the drop in business at gas stations seem to have made retailers more reluctant to lower prices even when their own costs drop. The statewide average for a gallon of 87 octane regular is $3.23. That compares to $3.17 in Riverside which is one cent higher than last month, and 43 cents lower than last year at this time.
