Spraying for West Nile virus expanded
MORENO VALLEY – (INT) – The first human case of West Nile virus has prompted stepped up spraying for mosquitoes.

Truck-mounted sprayers will return to Moreno Valley Wednesday, September 23rd, to apply Zenivex in two neighboring areas.

One involves 116 acres around Celebration Park and the other covers 30 acres near the Moreno Valley Ranch Golf Club bordered by Moreno Beach Drive, John F. Kennedy Drive, Pete Dye Street, and open golf area to the North.

There has been previous spraying in Moreno Valley, Nuevo and Murrieta.

Mosquitoes carrying West Nile virus routinely appear each summer and proliferate where there is standing water.
