PALM DESERT – (INT) – An extensive DNA analysis has confirmed that remains found earlier are those of a missing Coachella Valley couple.

Sheriff’s homicide detectives declined Friday to identify the area of Riverside County where the bodies of Audrey Moran and Jonathan Reynoso were found.

Moran’s abandoned SUV was found May 12th in Beaumont, the same day the couple was reported missing.

Arrested June 27th and awaiting trial are Manuel Rios, 28, of Coachella; Abraham Fregoso, 32 of Indio, and Jesus Ruiz Jr., age 41 of Stockton.

Investigators have declined to say where or when the couple was killed and have refused comment on a motive.
