Autumn travelers paying the least in three years
SOUTHLAND – (INT) – Those needing to get from ‘here’ to ‘there’ are doing so more economically.

Fall gasoline prices have not been this low in 3-years.

Auto Club spokesman Jeff Spring notes that “Supplies of the ‘summer blend’ of California gasoline are still plentiful, but prices are still just inching downward.” Spring figures that 80 percent of fall travelers who plan to drive to their destinations will save about $16 per fill-up compared to last year at this time.

California’s statewide average for a gallon of 87 octane regular is $3.22. In Riverside, the average is $3.14, which is three cents lower than last month, and $1.02 lower than last year at this time
