World Series: Dodgers push Rays to the brink
ARLINGTON, TX – (INT) – The Los Angeles Dodgers made up for Game 4’s debacle with Sunday’s 4-2 win over the Tampa Bay Rays to pull ahead in the World Series 3 games to 2.

The Dodgers are within one game of winning the Fall Classic for the first time since 1988. They can lock up a title in Game 6 on Tuesday night.

In 5 2/3 innings, Clayton Kershaw gave up two runs on five hits with six strikeouts and two walks. In the process, Kershaw passed Justin Verlander for the most career postseason strikeouts with 207.

There's a day off on Monday before Game 6 is played Tuesday night. The bullpens get a day of rest before it's Blake Snell for the Rays and likely a bullpen game from the Dodgers.
