Map forecasts spread of coronavirus
INLAND EMPIRE - -(INT) – A grim forecast developed by Facebook shows the number of new COVID-19 infections will soar by nearly 24,000 by the end of the month in the Inland Empire.

Facebook’s Data For Good Map of highest risk counties lists those across the nation where the virus is escalating the fastest.

San Bernardino County’s 19 percent rate compares to 12 percent in Riverside County based on data since November 17th.

The forecast uses anonymized Facebook data to deliver granular county-level results which is important for local health officials and elected officials to make critical decisions to protect Californians and understand where prevention efforts are working and which areas are expected to be hotspots.
