School reopening waivers suspended
RIVERSIDE – (INT) – County health officials are suspending waivers that would have enabled some schools to open during the coronavirus pandemic.

A statement contends that as positivity rates continue trending upward, “the county is clearly above the state recommended threshold indicating a further increase to come.”

“Schools which are open, either under a waiver or during the brief period that permitted them to do so under the red tier, may remain open,” according to the statement.
