Radio announcer, engineer Bill Elledge dies at 62
RIVERSIDE--Long-time broadcast engineer and KUCR Radio co-founder William ‘Bill’ Elledge has died after a long illness. He was 62.

His death March 11th was announced over the weekend by station manager Louis Vandenberg.

Elledge hosted the “7PM Show” for 37 years and was the station’s chief engineer. He was also a contract engineer for KPRO Radio and Inland Empire News Radio, both based in Riverside.

Vandenberg remembered Elledge as not only a superb engineer, but possessed “a deep knowledge of music, history, culture and politics.”
