SAN BERNARDINO--Online community crime mapping has come to the Inland Empire.

The San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department is the first law enforcement agency in the Southland to post a website that provides computer-generated neighborhood crime information.

Utilizing Google maps, users will see clusters of crime activity over the past 90-days.

Users can also sign-up for email alerts when a crime has been reported in a specific neighborhood.

CrimeMapping.com is a free service.
