SAN BERNARDINO – An all-out effort is underway to find the kidnapers of 3-year-old Briant Rodriguez.

Investigators Monday announced they are looking for three people who have ties to Ontario. Israel Moreno and Liberato Vega were identified as the abductors. Vega’s girlfriend, Claudia Serrano, is described as a ‘person of interest’.

The two men had been in the country illegally and were previously deported to Mexico. No-bail warrants for their arrest were issued last Friday. Ms. Serrano is alleged to have met with Vega after the boy’s kidnap.

They are suspected of driving Briant to Mexicali where he was found wandering the streets late last Thursday night. He is okay. Sheriff’s spokeswoman Jody Miller says he’s resting up for a battery of questions.

“Briant has been through a 2-week ordeal and is extremely fatigued.”

Briant may be able to shed some light on the wherabouts of his abductors.
