INLAND EMPIRE--San Bernardino Valley College launched the month-long graduation season. The Class of 2009 is the largest in nine years.

Crafton Hills College followed Friday evening with diplomas for more than 300 students. They have a GPA of 3.13. Their average age is 26 and most are women.

In Palm Desert, three hundred grads at College of the Desert marched to ‘Pomp and Circumstance’ across the football field Friday evening.

Saturday’s graduation spotlight shone on the University of Redlands.

Next month, an impressive array of speakers is being lined up for UC Riverside’s 55th annual Commencement.
