SAN YSIDRO – Another sophisticated tunnel beneath the US-Mexico border has been discovered and a shipment of marijuana sidelined.

The 600-yard long tunnel connected Otay Mesa near San Ysidro with Tijuana. It was equipped with a railway system, lighting and ventilation.

The Border Patrol said Wednesday the tunnel was linked to 20 tons of marijuana that agents have seized through search warrants. (INT)
