Gangs linked to sex trafficking
RIVERSIDE (INT) Authorities have announced a doubled-barreled offensive against street gangs.

The FBI said Thursday that the Rolling 60s Neighborhood Crips have been recruiting teenage girls to work as prostitutes. Some, including juveniles, were recruited at schools in the Inland Empire to work in Los Angeles and throughout Southern California.

A federal grand jury has indicted eight people.

Meantime, forty-three members and associates of two Crips chapters in Riverside and Jurupa Valley were target in another operation.

During the past 18-months, investigators have linked the gangs to a series of incidents ranging from burglary to attempted homicide.
